Boarding

Tender Care’s boarding facility is very clean and welcoming. Each dog has his or her own indoor run. There is an escape-proof fenced in play yard for individual pampered time. Our boarding facility is independently heated or air-conditioned to keep your furry friend comfortable in all seasons. We feed Science Diet Sensitive Skin & Stomach diet which is an easily digestible diet for even sensitive stomachs. If you prefer though, you can bring your own food for your pet. Play walks are offered twice daily with a mid-day break to go outside in our play yard. If staying more than 2 nights, you dog will receive a complimentary bath.
For our cat boarders, we have a separate room in which cats have their own “condo”.

At Tender Care Animal Hospital, pets receive the utmost care and attention while their owners are away. Our boarding kennel staff adheres to the highest standards which assures you that we treat your pet with professional care and knowledge. In order to better assist you, we have included some information regarding our facility's policies.
*All pets must be current on their vaccinations including DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. Also, a negative stool sample and current physical exam within the last year. If your pet has had vaccines done elsewhere we need written proof of them.
*All pets must have an approved flea control. If you have purchased Frontline, Advantix, Advantage, Vectra, Revolution, Credelio, Nexgard, Bravecto, Simparica, and Simparica Trio from another veterinarian or us and it has been administered in the last month-this is ok. Some over-the-counter products are not approved as they do not work effectively. Please check with us prior to boarding.
*All pets receive a free bath upon discharge if they stay more than 2 nights.
*Payment is due at time of drop off if your pet will be picked up during non-business hours.
*Boarding charges will apply if a 24 hour cancellation notice is not received.
